1. Where are your teachers from?: We are an international school in Thailand with an American Curriculum, most of our teachers are from The United States or Canada. All of our teachers are certified in their fields.
2. What extracurricular activities are offered after school?: Our students can participate in after-school sports activities such as basketball, badminton, volleyball,tennis, softball, soccer,swimming and IPGA Golf Program. We also compete against other international schools in and out of Bangkok.We have Robotics, F1 in school, and a scuba program known as the Deep Program. We also provide after-school clubs, which are free for our elementary students.
3. Do you accept students whose English is not their native language or from non-international schools?: Yes, we offer a comprehensive ELL program for students grade1 to 10.
4. What are the school hours, and where are you located?: 7:40 am-2:30 pm. ASBGV is an international school located on Bangna Trad Road km.15, inside a gated community just outside of Bangkok. If you are looking for an international school in Bangkok, ASBGV is also a good choice.
5. Does ASBGV offer door-to-door transportation?: Yes, our school also provides transportation to and from school for a fee.
6. Is ASBGV a boarding school?: We offer both day and boarding school options. ASBGV students are not required to stay in the dormitory but this is a perfect choice for those who are looking for boarding schools in Thailand as well as those who are looking for international school in Bangkok.
7. What is your curriculum?: ASBGV’s curriculum is based on Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards. For high school, we are also provide AP and AP Capstone Diploma, as well as, IB Diploma.
8. Where do the graduates go when they graduate?: Our International School has produced students who have been admitted to colleges and universities around the world. Furthermore, they consistently receive offers for scholarships. Last year our students received scholarship offers worth 12 million USD.
