School History

1983

The American School of Bangkok was founded in 1983 and was originally named Didyasarin International Kindergarten. The school quickly became one of the top kindergartens in Thailand

1995

In 1995 the school expanded to serve elementary students as well.

1997

In 1997 the Green Valley Campus opened with a capacity for 2,000 students from pre-kindergarten up to high school.

2000

In 2000, the school became a member of the East Asia Regional Committee of Overseas Schools (EARCOS) and received accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Today, The American School of Bangkok's Green Valley Campus is recognized as one of the top international schools in Thailand as it strives to holistically educate all students for a future that is constantly changing.

Accreditation 

The American School of Bangkok is recognized by Thailand’s Ministry of Education and is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
