The American School of Bangkok was founded in 1983. We are an international school that offers an American curriculum education for nursery to grade 12 students. The Green Valley campus was established in 1997 to accommodate day and boarding students. ASB Green Valley has dramatically grown over the 20 years with students from over 57 countries. ASBGV Dormitories

Our international school offers boarding for boys and girls who wish to live and study in our dormitories. Our two dormitory buildings are located within the grounds of our campus near Bangkok. For parents that are looking for a boarding program, ASB Green Valley dorm life offers students a home away from home experience.

Mindful Education

The American School of Bangkok, Green Valley Campus is one of the first international schools in Asia to integrate mindfulness techniques and skills into its existing standards of academic excellence. Our holistic approach helps improve social and emotional wellbeing of our students.

Golf Program

International Preparatory Golf Academy (IPGA) at Green Valley Campus is the only program in Southeast Asia that combines the international standards for golf training, competition, and academics for junior golf athletes.

1. What are ASBGV teachers' nationality?: Most of our teachers are American and Canadian as we are an international school with an American Curriculum.
2. Does the school provide after-school activities?: At our international school, we have many activities such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, softball, soccer, swimming. We also compete against other international schools through BISAC. We are very well-known for our golf program, or IPGA. We offer Robotics, F1 in school, and a scuba diving and marine science program, known as The Deep Program. On Wednesday, there are free after-school clubs for our students.
3. Do you accept students from non-international schools or students who may not speak English well?: Yes, we will test students before they enroll to see if they should join our ELL program. This program can help students improve their English skills that are necessary to succeed in our international school.
4. What are the class sizes?: We keep our classes below 20 students in all of our core classes (English, Science, Math, Social Studies)
5. What are the school hours?: 7:45 am -2:30 pm. After 2:30 pm, there are after school actitvities.
6. Does ASBGV offer door-to-door transportation?: Yes, our school provides transportation to and from school for a fee. If you are looking for an international school in Bangkok, we are also a good choice as we are located on Bangna-Trad Road.
7. Is ASBGV a boarding school?: We offer both day and boarding school options. We have separate boys and girls dormitories. This is perfect for those who are looking for boarding schools in Thailand.
8. What curriculum does ASBGV use?: ASBGV’s curriculum is based on Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards. For high school, We are also provide Advance Placement (AP) and AP Capstone Diploma
9. After finishing high school, what universities can students get into?: Our students have been accepted into colleges and universities across the globe, and many of them were offered scholarships.
