Prioritizing Safety and Well-being in our Caring Community

The American School of Bangkok Green Valley regards the safety and welfare of each child as vitally important and recognizes its responsibilities for child protection. To reinforce this commitment, all staff members undergo comprehensive background screening prior to employment and participate in ongoing safeguarding training throughout the academic year.

It is the policy of ASB Green Valley to maintain a school environment free from the effects of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation. No staff member, volunteer, or student may engage in any activity at any time which violates this policy.

This policy is reviewed annually to ensure alignment with global best practices and shall apply to all ASB Green Valley staff, students, guests, visitors, contractors, external service providers, and volunteers. The full policy document is available upon request.

All ASB Green Valley staff members are considered mandated reporters and must report any suspected Child Protection Policy violations, either inside or outside of the school setting. The ASB Green Valley Safety Committee and Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSOs) serve as resources to help as needed in matters related to child protection. Please contact 02-430-8888 regarding any specific concerns.
